The AI-driven Business area of excellence is situated within the Research.Lab at Rennes School of Business. The Research.Lab is an innovative and vibrant space for research excellence shared between Faculty, PhDs, visiting professors, clusters, policy makers, and industry.

This research environment emerges from the belief that Research must be impactful and make a difference. It is designed to encourage researchers and businesses to reflect, share ideas, discuss and innovate together. It showcases cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary collaborations.

For this reason we do not concentrate on traditional discipline-based research (i.e., research in marketing, research in finance, etc.). Instead we focus on areas of transdisciplinary research that addresses current issues relevant to organisations and institutions​.

There are four Areas of Excellence, each with their own particular relevance to the business of today and tomorrow.

Each Area of Excellence has a number of Principal Investigators who lead research-ready impactful projects in specific area of expertise.
